64 • NOVEMBER 2013 • WORLD FENCE NEWS November 1988 Here are some articles and items that were being covered in the November 1988 edition of World Fence News, 25 years ago this month. • The cover photo for November showed a racetrack fence job at the Remington Park Racetrack in Oklahoma City, Okla. Three-rail plank style vinyl horse fence was used, which nicely set off two horse barns at the $90 million park. A section of the 2,500 lineal feet of green vinyl coated chain link installed at the track by Lifetime Fence Co. was also shown on the cover. • A special section detailed the upcoming International Fence Industry Association (now the American Fence Association) convention and trade show in New Orleans. • WFN contributing editor Herb Borner looked at a variety of center stops, gate keepers and other accessories. November 2003 Here are some articles and items that were being covered in the November 2003 issue of World Fence News, 10 years ago this month. • The cover for November: Fencing Tiger Mountain. Located on a three-acre site at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo, the Tiger Mountain exhibit recreates the East Asian habitat of the Siberian tiger (one of which is pictured on the cover). At the heart of the exhibit is a pair of viewing pavilions that put guests in the heart of the animal's world – just feet away from the tigers themselves.
