THE SILENT KILLER THAT CAN RUIN YOUR SWING

Arm run off in the golf swing is related to the time of movements at the top of the backswing. More specifically, it is when the shoulders have completed their turn during the backswing, but the arms, hands and club keep moving back.
When this happens in the swing, there is a “disconnection” in the “POWER” chain. The power chain is the sequence of movements during the downswing, that starts with
the hips firing, then followed by the shoulders unwinding, and then the arms, hands and club moving last.
Golfers that suffer from “Arm Run off” will often see in their swing:
* Overswing * Casting * Left wrist breakdown at impact (scooping) * Power loss * Inconsistent ball striking (fat and thin)
