4 • AUGUST 2011 • WORLD FENCE NEWS Editor’s Corner Updates to WFN Online The World Fence News digital edition is now being hosted by a different server, and while the appearance and navigation of the e-magazine remain pretty much unchanged from before, there has been one minor change. The archives of past editions are still maintained by the old server, and we have created a special button with which you can access these archives. An archive is being created on the new server, but it will contain only issues from June 2011 forward. The button is shown here. You still will access the e-magazine by clicking on “Read Our Current Issue Online” at www.worldfencenews.com, but if you want to view back issues earlier than June 2011, click on this archive button. If you have not checked out World Fence News Online (perish the thought), be aware that you can view the monthly editions of World Fence News in advance of them reaching you in the mail. The digital edition is an exact duplicate of the print edition, but with some valuable enhancements. Every time a web address or e-mail address appears in the digital edition, you can click on it for a direct link to the source. Very conven- ient! We are pleased to report that the number of individuals hit- ting on the site is increasing steadily, and our goal of giving worldwide readers unlimited access to World Fence News has been achieved, as proven by the fact that we have gained some new clients who found out about us on the web. The regulatory jungle The recent repeal of onerous federal 1099 reporting re- quirements that we have been reporting on was welcome, but it doesn’t mean we’re out of the woods. The following are some facts on the regulatory burden that U.S. businesses face, com- piled by the National Federation of Independent Business’s My- Business Magazine.
