Chairman and CEO Scott Wine and a number of key Polaris executives and team members participated in the Wall Street event in New York City. Starting from humble beginnings in 1954 in Roseau, Minn., Polaris was among the first in the nation to produce a working snowmobile, and six decades later has grown to become a $4 billion-plus highly profitable global leader in the powersports industry. Today, Polaris has more than 20 recognizable brands in their respective industries and more than 100 unique vehicles available in numerous configurations and limited-edition models. "Innovation is the lifeblood of this company, and we have an incredible global team of nearly 7,000 employees relentlessly focused on driving innovation in everything we do," Wine said. "As we ring the Closing Bell today we pause to celebrate 60 years of truly pioneering achieve- ments and the dedicated folks who made it hap- pen, and we look forward to the almost limitless opportunities ahead for Polaris Industries." Throughout the day of the Closing Bell cer- emony, Polaris exhibited a selection of its inno- vative vehicles in "Experience Square" on the street outside the NYSE. The display included all-new model year 2015 vehicles including the Indian Scout and Roadmaster, a Polaris Sling- shot SL roadster, a Victory Magnum and Gun- ner, snowmobiles, ATVs and more.
