Architectural metal manufacturers slate fall meeting in Chicago The National Association of Ar- chitectural Metal Manufacturers (NAAMM) will host its 2015 annual meeting November 7–9, 2015 at the Hilton Suites Chicago in downtown Chicago. NAAMM's spring and fall meet- ings are the primary settings for mem- ber interaction and project work. In addition to association issues, the objective of these meetings is to allow the divisions to work on tech- nical standards, special projects and promotion, the organization stated. Divisions and their working committees also conduct business throughout the year on an as-needed basis, including teleconference ses- sions. Rooms for the fall meeting are available for $189 per night for singles and $219 per night for doubles. "Significant Changes to the 2015 International Codes" is an updated book series that provides expert anal- ysis of code changes to assist code of- ficials, architects, engineers and other code users to transition to the latest codes. The books are available from the International Code Council and are the first resources available refer- encing the 2015 I-Codes. "In its fourth cycle of publication, the 'Significant Changes' series has proven to be one of the most useful tools for code adoption and project implementation based on newly pub- lished ICC codes," said Mark John- son, ICC executive vice-president and director of business development. "Each publication contains re- vised code text, a summary of each change listed, change analysis, and color photos and graphics to deepen the understanding of the changes," he added. Each book offers a comprehen- sive, practical analysis of critical changes from the 2012 and 2015 edi- tions of the I-Codes. The 2015 International Building, Residential and Fire codes are dis- cussed in individual books. A fourth book in the series ad- dresses changes to the 2015 Interna- tional Plumbing, Mechanical and Fuel Gas codes. Key changes are identified then followed by in-depth discussion and detailed illustrations to clarify re- al-world application. 2015 Significant Changes books are available for purchase in hardcopy ($36 each for ICC members, $45 each for nonmembers) or PDF download ($30.50 for ICC members, $38.50 each for nonmembers). A series of ICC training and ed- ucation seminars based on the books will be available this fall. Seminar registration includes the related book.
