www.cheersonline.com 10 • October 2016 DRINK CULTURE Anheuser-Busch lnBev has launched Cherry-Ahh-Rita, a limited-edition, fall/ winter seasonal flavor of the Lime-a-Rita line. It combines the sweet, juicy taste of dark cherries with a Margarita twist, the company says. Cherry-Ahh-Rita will be on shelves nationwide until early March, avail- able in 12-pack, 8-oz. cans; four-pack, 16-oz. cans; and 25-oz. cans. Jefferson's Bourbon has introduced Jefferson's Reserve Old Rum Cask Finish. The new expression features Jefferson's Reserve bourbon aged and fully matured in Kentucky, prior to being finished in barrels that once held Gosling's Family Reserve Old Rum. The result is a bourbon with a deep caramel color and maple and banana flavors, the company says, with a hint of rum spice. The suggested retail price is $79.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Jim Beam has re- leased Jim Beam Double Oak, a Kentucky Straight bourbon whiskey finished in oak that is twice barreled to "create richer and woodier flavors," the company says. Aged initially for four years, Jim Beam Double Oak is then transferred to newly charred American oak barrels and aged to taste. The suggested retail price is $22 per 750-ml. bottle. SKYY Vodka has expanded its infusions line with SKYY Infusions Bartlett Pear. This expression has notes of fleshy ripe pear with bright juicy flavor, the company says, finished with a dry and crisp taste, and made for autumnal cocktails. SKYY Infusions Bartlett Pear is 70 proof (35% ABV) and is available in 50-ml. ($1.99), 750-ml ($13.99), 1-L. ($16.99) and 1.75-L. ($19.99). Victory Brewing Co. has introduced Selene Saison as the sister to Victory's Helios Ale. Selene Saison is a wild-fermented farm- house-style dark saison, 7.5% ABV. Selene has notes of chocolate and clove funk, the company says. Two strains of Brettanomyces and Blaugies yeast bring the brew full circle with local- ized variation. Available throughout Victory's 35-state distribution footprint, Selene retails for about $9 depending on the location. The Sazerac Co. has introduced a seasonal liqueur called Granny's Gingerbread Cream. Crafted to highlight its gingerbread spice and brown sugar notes, Granny's is made with natural vanilla flavor and heavy creams sourced from Vermont dairies, the company says. Granny's Gingerbread Cream is 25 proof and retails for $12.99 per 750-ml. bottle. The liqueur will be available in most markets throughout the holidays while supplies last. Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has launched Rebel Yell Single Barrel, aged for 10 years and bottled one barrel at a time at 100 proof. Rebel Yell Single Barrel is avail- able nationwide in limited quantity (2,000 cases) for a suggested retail price of $49.99 per 750-ml. bottle. An additional 4,000 cases are planned for 2017. Magic Hat Belgo Sutra has returned for fall 2016. Inspired by the Trappist brewers of Belgium, Belgo Sutra is a strong, dark ale brewed with figs, dates and dark candy sugar. The limited release comes in 22-oz. bottles and will also be available on draft at se- lect bars and restaurants for limited time. This quadruple ale has an ABV of 8% and 30 IBUs. The suggested retail price is $12 per 22-oz. bottle. Black Cow Vodka is pure milk vodka, produced in Dorset, England, from the milk of grass-fed cows, the company says. It is distilled from the milk whey and treated to a proprietary blending process created by dairy farmer Jason Barber. His inspiration came from "a desire to diversify the product of his 250-head dairy herd and his personal interest in vodka," the company says. Black Cow Vodka is now available in the U.S. for a suggested retail price of $39.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. The Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Co. has unveiled Whoop & Holler, a 28-year-old charcoal-mellowed American whiskey. Whoop & Holler origi- nates from the George Dickel Distillery in Tullahoma, TN, and has a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley. Whoop & Holler, which is 84 poof and retails for $175 per 750-ml. bottle, will be highly allocated with no future releases planned.
