However, hot off the holiday, Leonard fell deep into a Thanksgiving turkey-induced coma and couldn't get back to us in time. Our January winner will hopefully have a ham for Christmas dinner instead. In the meantime, here are some Harley and the Davidsons trivia facts to go with our last round of Harley and the Davidsons-themed Name That Time Machine: • Around 80 bikes were used in the fi lming of the show, including bikes from Indian, Henderson, Excelsior, Thor and others. • Multiples of each bike and part were made for speedy replacement in case of breakdowns. • They didn't skimp on the mechanics. Builder Alex Wheeler hid some mod- ern components and engine internals, and the engines included specially designed cylinders and heads, as well as machined crankcases for each bike. • There was very little computer-generated imagery in the racing scenes, which is why no expense was spared on making the replica bikes functional. • Bug Hall, who played Arthur Davidson, was banned from riding the precari- ous bikes after crashing and breaking his collarbone. • The show was mostly fi lmed in Romania.
