Four hours later, I discover that my latch post is sinking in the ground. As soon as I redo it, the latch works fine. Well, as the man says, "You can't drive a nail with a sponge, no matter how many times you soak it." Soak what? The nail or the sponge? What the hell does that mean? I gotta get rid of the "damn if I know" hat real soon!
