Term product has been approved from a profitability standpoint; we are waiting for state approvals. Whole life products are in the process of being priced and designed, which should then make NCSF competitive in the whole life market and show increased life sales in 2013. • he national treasurer monitors the Wall Street Journal T daily and weekly updates about the economy from "Harris, Pension and Investments", and Investors Business Daily. • Daily CPA Finance" update letters, Nancy Webman from " Pensions & Investments, and The U.S. Economic Outlook from Conning, also are very informational. Other Board Business: • Approval of travel guidelines 2013 • Approval of 2013 budget Motion by National Director Catherine Hensel and seconded by National Director Jane Uselman that the Board of Directors accept the NCSF travel guidelines for 2013. National Director Jane Uselman moved and seconded National Director Catherine Hensel, the executive vice president be invited to attend board meetings. Motion passed 8 – Yes 2 – No. The meeting recessed with a prayer at 9:25 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 The December quarterly meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Catholic Society of Foresters was called to order by National President Margaret Babinat on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 8:02 a.m. in the board room of the Home Office. All members of the Board were present, except Rosalie Pyle. The meeting opened with a prayer followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States. Financial report from the accounting department was given by National Treasurer Jon Mocol.
