'Her and the memories'
Jerry Martin's first truck, this 1981 Kenworth W900, was the start of
his 30-truck fleet and "a very successful trucking career of 30 years."
The photo was taken after the former owner-operator received his own
authority, and he used the KW to haul chickens to California and produce
back to Texas. If you look close at this photo, "you can see my wife put-
ting on her makeup in the passenger visor mirror," Martin says. "The truck
is gone, but I still got the best part of it – her and the memories."
