www.PowersportsBusiness.com Powersports Business • February 13, 2017 • 19 SNOWMOBILE Back for their yearly visit are eight national Snocross race teams to hang out in Hope, Michgian, at International Engineering & Manufacturing (IEM), maker of Woody's traction products, before the AMSOIL Cham- pionship Snocross (ACS) Series. Semi haul- ers and race sleds will be displayed for the public to see while racers sign autographs on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 9-11 a.m. These national race teams are making a pit stop before they head out to Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, for the ACS Series on Feb. 24-25. All race fans and local patrons are invited to visit and tour IEM's facility while enjoying coffee, hot cocoa and donuts, and meeting some of the finest professional and amateur athletes in the sport. All guests are eligible to enter their name into a drawing for free tick- ets to attend the racing event at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. "Every year this meet and greet gets big- ger and better. We are excited to see new and returning racers and guests," said Mark Mus- sellman, vice president of Woody's. These Snocross teams include: Scheuring Speed Sports — Scheur- ing Speed Sports is the first independent Snocross race team and has been a partner with Woody's for 36 years now. This team is already off to a strong start behind Tim Trem- blay and Lincoln Lemieux. Team LaVallee — Team LaVallee is a professional snowmobile team with more than 30 years of racing background. Team members Levi LaVallee and Kyle Pallin have both been awarded fan favorite of the year, which makes it an honor having the opportunity to socialize with these guys on a personal level. Much success has been earned by the entire team, including Zak Mason, season after season. Jess Racing — Jess Racing is a Snocross racing team based out of Westminster, Mas- sachusetts. Last winter, the 18-year-old Montana Jess made 11 podiums in 16 starts throughout the ACS series. Ingles Performance — Multi-time cham- pions Ingles Performance will race full-time on the ACS series in 2016-17. The team notched its third straight Pro Open title last winter on the New England-based East Coast Snocross series. Riders are Danny Poirer, Leo Patenaude and Hunter Patenaude. Hentges Racing — Hengtes Racing has become the premiere factory Polaris Sno- cross team. Riders Kody Kamm and Petter Narsa have earned several accomplishments throughout their careers and are already look- ing bright this season, as both drivers are in the top 5 points standings of the ACS Series. Haala Racing — Haala Racing is a profes- sional snowmobile racing team whose mem- bers maintained a consistent top five finish every time they got on the track last season. Riders are Alex Berglund, AJ Stoffle, Marcus Lang and Tucker Haala. Cottew Motorsports — Cottew Motor- sports is a Snocross team that also races the ACS series. Recent success includes four championships and three second-place posi- tions for the 2015-16 season. Riders are Cole Cottew, Mitchell Thelen and Bobby LePage. Carlson Motorsports — Carlson Motor- sports is a family of racers, mechanics and sponsors who are proud of their accomplish- ments on and off the track. The phrase "No off season" is what keeps them going all year round in order to stay sharp each season. Rid- ers are Andrew Carlson and Ryan Springer. All teams are sponsored in part by Woody's, supplying all of the traction prod- ucts their teams use to compete.
