Key components include a GSM/UMTS modem and a combined GSM/GPS antenna, which are linked to the ma- chine's main control unit. Real-time performance values, stored data, and the machine's position are transmitted via GSM network and the local GSM provider's internet access to a central server. This allows information to be safely stored and retrieved at any time, from anywhere. It also allows direct access to the machine's PLC-controller to fix or update the plant software. Varying service packages are available. Keestrack America | www.keestrack.com
