Products & Services BAJA 26 OUTLAW OUTBOARD Baja Marine has announced the 2014 Baja 26 Outlaw Outboard, the first in its new outboard-powered line. The boat is powered by twin Mercury Verado 300s with hydraulic power steering, which provide it with a top speed of 70 mph. The boat also is available with twin Verado 200s with hydraulic steering and twin Verado 225s with hydraulic power steering. MERCURY ENERTIA ECO PROPELLER The Mercury Enertia ECO was specifically designed for highhorsepower outboard-powered boats, offering boaters a 10 percent increase in fuel economy at cruising speeds. To maximize the fuel economy improvement provided by the Enertia ECO, Mercury Marine engineers designed a new propeller with a broad 16-inch diameter, large blade area and a high progressive rake, a combination made possible only through using Mercury's proprietary X7 stainless steel alloy. XTP XTREME BIMINI Xtreme Tower Products (XTP) has given the traditional Bimini top a new look and expanded functionality with the introduction of the patent pending Xtreme Bimini. The XB affords weather protection while simultaneously providing storage for tubes and other towables on the Bimini's top. Although the XB is not designed to be used as a watersports tower, the XB legs can be used to mount lights and other accessories to enhance the boating experience. MONTEREY 186MS AND 196MS Monterey has introduced the 186MS (pictured) and 196MS Montura Series Sport Boats. Standard features include Monterey Boats patented Air Assist Chine, a trailer with brakes and a swing away tongue, multiple stainless steel drink holders, storage options both beneath the bow cushions as well as below the bench seat and an in-floor ski locker between the helm stations. Both are equipped with an optional stainless steel ski tow pylon, telescoping and recessed swim ladder, and swim pad. PRO-LINE HEMINGWAY EDITION Pro-Line Boats has collaborated with the family of Ernest Hemingway to design a new series of Pro-Line Hemingway Edition fishing boats inspired by Hemingway's beloved boat Pilar, and bearing his signature. The first model, the Pro-Line 23 Sport Hemingway Edition, was introduced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The boat is powered by a single Mercury Verado 300 outboard, which takes it to speeds of up to 53 mph. 48 | Boating Industry | January 2014 P47x48-BI14JAN-Products.indd 48 www.BoatingIndustry.com 12/18/13 10:17 AM
