"After many years of working with the associations as outside counsel, I'm excited to join full time," Pritchard said. DEALERSHIP GETS NEW OWNER Performance Brokerage Ser- vices announced that David Pearson, owner of Green Mountain Harley-Davidson of Essex Junction, Vt., has purchased Santa Fe Harley- Davidson from owner Danny Spurlock. The acquisition will continue to be named Santa Fe Harley-Davidson. The transaction was facili- tated by George Chaconas, with a seller looking to semi-retire and relocate to Florida and a buyer looking to expand and grow through acquisitions. PARTS UNLIMITED HIRES TWO NEW PHONE REPS Parts Unlim- ited has added industry veter- ans Rich Graba and Rick Jaeger to its phone sales represen- tative staff out of the distribu- tor's Brainerd, Minn., office. Graba is an avid street bike racer, and all three of his sons participate in motocross. Jaeger was the owner of Mille Lacs Motorsports in Onamia, Minn. MARSHALL, COLDWAVE EXTEND AGREEMENT Marshall Distributing will continue to be the exclusive sup- plier of Coldwave snowmobile apparel in the U.S. in an agree- ment that lasts through 2019. The 2014-15 snow apparel line is now being offered to dealers. "The current, new line of Coldwave is streamlined for 2014-15 to bring the brand back to the roots that made the Cold- wave line so popular with snow- mobilers across North America. As we take the Coldwave brand forward, our focus will always be offering quality snowmobile apparel at reasonable prices," said Chuck Herman, national sales manager of Marshall Distributing. The "Sno Storm" series will be a new line from Coldwave for the upcoming year with a soft, yet durable outer material. The Sno Storm product line is 100 percent water proof and breathable and comes with a removable hood in men's, ladies and youth sizes. The majority of the new offer- ings will all have retail pricing below $200, and nothing in the line will exceed $250 retail. "We look forward to extend- ing our relationship with Mar- shall Distributing, the leader in the snow industry in the U.S.," said Coldwave's Dave Nicholas. "They have helped us grow the brand over the last 20 years to a leadership position within the market, and we expect them to take it to new heights." The new 2014-15 Coldwave product line will be featured at the snow shows in late summer and through the fall months. INDEPENDENT ILLINOIS RETAILER EXPANDS iMotorsports, the largest inde- pendent used motorcycle dealer in Illinois, is relocating its head- quarters in response to the 35 percent average growth rate it has had since its 2010 start. The purchase of the old Suzuki car dealership at 334 West Grand Avenue in Elmhurst will provide an additional 17,000 square feet, space for a full service depart- ment, a 3,000 square foot parts department and five new full- time employees. Currently operating out of an 8,000 square foot Roselle space, iMotorsports was sched- uled to move to its new Elm- hurst location April 1. "iMotorsports is a non-tradi- tional dealer with low overhead that continues to grow steadily with consumers who continue to purchase more goods online every year," said Haider Saba, iMotorsports president. Twenty-five percent of iMo- torsports customers purchase motorcycles sight unseen. "This move will allow our staff to serve our customers even better and continue on the growth path to achieve our ulti- mate goal of becoming the des- tination dealership of Illinois," Saba added. Hot Products INSIDE Trucking company adding employees to haul Harleys Green Bay, Wis.-based Schneider, one of the largest truckload carriers in North America, has recently created 75 new jobs for professional truck drivers looking to earn up to $80,000 per year while carrying some unique freight. The drivers will be hauling motorcycle manu- facturer Harley-Davidson's engines and parts from Missouri, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to various points around the U.S. As a result, lucra- tive opportunities for dedicated account drivers living in these areas are immediately available. Schneider is hiring experienced drivers in Kansas City, Mo., Menomonee Falls, Wis., and York, Penn., to support its new business with Harley-Davidson. To kick start the hiring process, the company is offering sign-on bonuses of $7,000 (for teams) and $3,500 (solo drivers). Drivers will enjoy weekly time at home, complete benefits, no- touch freight and plenty of cash. "Our team drivers can expect to average 5,000 to 6,000 miles per week, which can equate to $80,000 per year," said Rob Reich, Schneider's vice president. "Those who drive solo will run about 2,800 miles a week and earn up to $66,000 a year. In addition to great pay and benefits, drivers on this dedicated account will work predictable schedules and enjoy weekly home time." PSB Racer Gloves gets Canadian distribution Racer Gloves USA, the North American Importer/Distributor for Austrian brand RACER, announces a partnership with Motorcycle Innovations. Racer USA will now be working hand- in-hand with the Toronto-based distributor to expand the glove company's reach into Canada. Both parties see it as a perfect fit. "I've been aware of Racer Gloves for sometime," Motorcycle Innovations president Matt Dynes said. "I'm glad to be a part of the brand's growth in North America." Motorcycle Innovations has served the Canadian motorcycle market with innovative and unique products since 2008. Motor- cycle Innovations will distribute Racer Gloves in Canada effectively immediately, according to Dynes. "The best fitting gloves in North America are now getting a grip north of the border," Racer USA founder Lee Block said. "Bad puns aside, it was important to reduce transit times and shipping costs to Canada. Connecting with Matt and Motorcycle Innovations is a good fit for both companies." "With Motorcycle Innovations' help, we will continue to get the brand known in Canada," he concluded.
