And we use very high-quality LEDs. We are not the least expensive on the market, but we try to make a good quality product that's going to last." PSB: If you're not the least expensive prod- uct on the market, what makes your product worth the higher price tag? MB: "A brighter LED. We take extra steps. We put short-circuit protection on a lot of our modules; that's something we've been com- ing out with. We make sure that everything is waterproof, that everything is sealed, that it's quality. We use a high-grade tape for the things that mount with 3M tape." Benefits — Carbon Free treats fuel when vehicles go into storage and addresses the moisture problems inherent in today's ethanol-blended fuels, keeping fer- rous and soft metal parts clean and free of corrosion. Carbon Free also softens and breaks down carbon deposits and allows them to be burned and expelled out the exhaust through the combustion pro- cess. It also cleans valves, sticky rings and the combustion chamber. Carbon Free can be added to the fuel system on a regular basis, especially prior to storage to ensure like-new run quality in any 2- or 4-cycle engine, including BRP Rotax engines. One ounce treats one gallon of fuel. Suggested Retail Price — $8.99 Contact — www.brp.com HIGH LIFTER GEAR LIFT Specifications — High Lifter Products Inc. has launched its newest line of lift kits for side-by-sides: the Gear Lift. The bolt-on Gear Lift uses a portal box at the wheel hub, moving the axle center line up 4 inches, providing lift and clearance under the axle center. The Gear Lift maintains factory suspension and angles, eliminating the need for aftermarket axle upgrades. Benefits — This kit provides a 1:1.4 gear reduc- tion, which is about 30 percent. It consists of three 1-inch wide, heat-treated steel gears that increase torque and regain horsepower that's often lost with the addition of a big lift and larger tires. By multiply- ing torque at the wheel, the Gear Lift reduces the amount of torque that is transferred through the CV axle shafts, differential and other drivetrain and sus- pension components, according to High Lifter. The kit is available for the Polaris Ranger 800, Ranger 900, RZR 800, RZR 1000 and the Can-Am Com- mander 1000 and Maverick 1000, with additional models coming in the future.
