She was a long-time executive assistant at Stephens Pipe & Steel. Mrs. Winget was born April 4, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Royal Elbert and Kathleen Elizabeth Morgan Tice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Lokotar and Sandra Holinsworth. Survivors include her husband, Richard (Rick) Winget; stepmother, Kathleen (Kaye) Tice; stepbrothers, William Tice (wife, Shannon) and Marc Tice; and a sister, Christine Ve- lasco (husband, Rick). Stephens Pipe & Steel general manager Ted Eysenbach offered the following eulogy: "Wow, I don't know where to start. It has been only a week since Pat died (I can hardly write the word) and I am still at a loss for words. Pat worked with Terry Stephens and me for the last 17 years. This August would have been her 19th anniversary at SPS. Looking back across the years, Patricia (Pat) Winget prodding them into her way of think- ing. She handled numerous complaint calls that never made it to Terry or me. They would call up on fire and hang up laughing with her. It was her gift. "She didn't hold a grudge and couldn't stay mad at anyone for long, even me! Though childless, she had a special affinity for the kids who would gather at her desk. She kept crayons and coloring books just for such occa- sions. I can picture her with my grand- son, Nate, sitting on her lap, both laughing at funny dog and cat videos on YouTube. It was hard to tell who was having the better time. "She was a blessing, she was a friend, she was a keeper. Wingo, rest in peace." through our triumphs and our tears, I can say without question, she loved the people and the place that is Stephens Pipe. "Pat was far more than an assis- tant. She was a travel agent, confidant, gate keeper, inventory coordinator, production control planner, co-con- spirator, trade show facilitator, etc., etc. But she was, first and foremost, a friend to all. "I always tried to get her to toughen up with some of her problem customers when they tried to pull a fast one. I'd tell her to call them up and read them the riot act. But she never did. I was wrong. That wasn't her. She'd call them back and before long you'd hear her laughing and gently Orlando, Florida will host FenceTech 2015 Heads up!
