www.PowersportsBusiness.com NEWS Powersports Business • July 13, 2014 • 5 Access to market data available in real time Dominion Powersports Solutions and National Powersport Auctions (NPA) are teaming up to provide unprecedented access to power- sports market information that will boost dealer profitability on pre-owned units. The enhanced access to market data gives dealers using Dominion Powersports' Traffic Log Pro lead manager/CRM system real-time access to NPA's Value Guide, an online database that provides up-to-the-minute wholesale values on pre-owned powersports vehicles. With this step, Traffic Log Pro is ensuring a sales depart- ment has instant access to critical market data for a trade-in or used unit purchase. "This is very, very helpful," said Barry Eisenberg, sales operations manager for deal- ership group New England Powersports, after seeing the new Traffic Log Pro feature. "We'll use it for every trade-in." NPA's partnership with Traffic Log Pro marks the first time this rich database will be available to dealers outside the nationwide auction provider. The feature, now available in Traffic Log Pro, comes at no additional expense to dealers. Traffic Log Pro is the industry's only lead management/CRM company to provide this critical data. "Pre-owned profitability starts at the buy side," said Jim Woodruff, NPA's chief operat- ing officer. "By offering the NPA Value Guide through Traffic Log Pro during the trade-in process, dealers are given a real-time snapshot of the wholesale market on more than 26,000 different models of powersport vehicles. With this new addition to TLP, dealers can bet- ter manage their pre-owned expenditures and accept trades they would historically turn away due to unfamiliarity with a vehicle model or its market value." The NPA Value Guide is based upon more than a decade of powersports data and provides a dealer's sales department with critical infor- mation about the actual wholesale value of a particular model by location, condition, time frame and mileage breakdown. The NPA Value Guide will be accessible in every new lead a dealer creates in the Traffic Log Pro system. While discussing a potential deal, a salesperson can click on the NPA Value Guide at any time in the sales process in Traffic Log Pro. The salesperson can then give a customer an approximate value of their trade-in, provid- ing enhanced customer service and improving the speed and success rate of the sales process. "We realize profitability in the pre-owned market is tied to the price a dealership pays for a unit," said Paul Newman, general man- ager of Traffic Log Pro. "Providing dealers with instant, accurate information on whole- sale values is incredibly important, and that's why we're so excited to partner with NPA to provide dealers this new level of access to pre- owned unit data." PSB NPA, Traffic Log Pro partnership targets pre-owned Suzuki moves ATV assembly to Georgia Suzuki Manufacturing of America Corp. (SMAC) and Suzuki Motor of America, Inc.
