While some certainly expressed pessimism and concern about the long-term outlook, most offered up a positive message. "Tradition for large percentage of boaters. Innovations will continue to create interest." "Technology is creating better boats today vs. 10 years ago." "The emergence of peer-to-peer boat rental marketplaces looks poised to bring new energy to the industry." "If we continue to focus on what consumers can afford, and balance choices to the various levels of consumer resources, the industry will continue to improve." "Improved professionalism of the dealers which improves the experience of the consumers." "I am optimistic about the future of boating because I feel that people are beginning to realize the value and beauty of this sport." "People will always look for an activity they can enjoy with family and boating is the perfect activity for that." "Economy seems to be slowly but steadily improving, consumers feeling more confi dent about their jobs, income and personal wealth."
