Products & Services 48 | Boating Industry | January 2015 www.BoatingIndustry.com AMERITEX RETRACTABLE FABRIC ROOF SYSTEM The Ameritex retractable fabric roof system includes an outer top fabric section and an inner headliner that can be changed or replaced in minutes, without any fasteners, and lift and fold in unison. Both parts "snap in" similarly to the mechanism of a sealable plastic bag. The roof is engineered to work in both power and manual modes and uses SureSeal technology. DOMETIC STIIC The Dometic Smart Touch Integrate Intelligence Control (STIIC) connects a boat's Dometic systems such as air conditioning, water makers, icemakers, refrigeration systems, engine ventila- tion systems and more to the STIIC network. STIIC is accessible from a mobile app and allows boaters to monitor all systems from one location. It can be used to check a system's status, change settings, turn it on or off and diagnose a problem. THE MCMURDO SMARTFIND S20 The McMurdo Smartfi nd S20 is a personal AIS MOB device worn on a lifejacket and activated by sliding off the safety tab and lifting an arming cap to deploy the antenna. A built-in high precision GPS receiver – which updates every 60 seconds – provides precise location, distance and bearing data. Onboard crew members (and nearby AIS-enabled receivers) receive all the information they need to locate the position of the person in diffi culty, enabling a speedy recovery. SEA VEE 340Z The Sea Vee 340Z's cross ventilated twin stepped hull produces greater effi ciency through an augmented four port air induction system, utilizing a central air reservoir unit that produces and maintains the necessary air cavities that substantially reduce drag and the forward resistance of the sea. It features multiple lifting bodies with unique geometry that results in a fi xed running trim angle. Improved directional stabil- ity, at any speed, is achieved through an array of speed rails. ZODIAC N-ZO 700 CABIN The N-ZO 700 completes the N-ZO family, which includes four boats ranging from 19-25 feet (6-7.6m). It offers a combination of comfort, looks and ease of use. The cabin seats fi ve, sleeps two and has a fully enclosed ventilated head. Other features include a removable tube system, bow sundeck, freshwater sink and wash-down system, electric windlass, refrigerator and removable raft picnic table.
