The question I always get at this point is, "Are you saying to do the bike delivery before the customer has signed?" Yes! If sales has "sold" the bike, then there is no reason not to do so. By going over the operation of the motorcycle before signing the final paperwork, you are creating more ownership and keeping the customer excited before they go into the finance office. This gives your finance manager the best chance to do the best job possible. FOURTH STOP — FINANCE OFFICE This is where the customer signs the paper- work and takes legal ownership of the bike, etc. If you are following this process, there should be nothing more than a short cel- ebration and a "thank you" from the sales- person, and the customer can go enjoy his or her new toy. If you want to have a dealership that performs at the highest level, then is it vital that all departments are working to make each other better. This is just one thing that will make the entire dealership better. Take it; make it your own, and sell, sell, SELL.
