Rotary offers vast array of OPE parts for 2016 Rotary Corporation offers more than 9,500 different parts, tools and accessories for outdoor power equipment, including a full line of mower blades, air and fuel filters, belts, trimmer line, trimmer heads, electric starters, carburetors, overhaul kits, chainsaw parts and much more. For 2016, Rotary has introduced hundreds of items, including high-lift, low-lift and commercial- strength Copperhead mower blades. The new blade assortment is available for many popular brands, including Bob-Cat, Dixie Chopper, Exmark, Ferris, Gravely, Husqvarna, John Deere, Kubota, Murray, Scag, Snapper and Stiga. Rotary has also introduced a variety of foam air filters and pre-filters for major brands such as Briggs & Stratton, Generac, Honda, Kawasaki, Kohler and Onan. In addition, a new assortment of black vortex commercial-strength trimmer line is among the featured items in Rotary's 2016 master parts catalog. Rotary's vortex, diamond-cut, quad tex and premium quad trimmer line are available in loops, donuts or bulk spools. Caterpillar to design and manufacture full line of mini excavators as alliance with Wacker Neuson is phased out Caterpillar recently announced that it will shift design and production of its smallest hydraulic excavators to Caterpillar facilities beginning in 2018 as a successful, 6-year strategic alliance with Wacker Neuson is phased out. Caterpillar will focus on growing its global mini excavator business as it leverages existing facilities and design teams to deliver cost-effective and efficient new machines weighing less than 3 tons. Caterpillar's Building Construction Products Division will design and manufacture the new machines, building on the proven attributes of the larger Cat mini excavators. Five of the current models (301.4C, 301.7D, 301.7D CR, 302.2D and 302.4D) manufactured by Wacker Neuson will phase out in mid-2018, and the 302.7D CR will phase out at the end of 2019. The 300.9D will also phase out at the end of 2019 or later if mutually agreed by both parties. "Wacker Neuson has been an excellent alliance partner, providing Caterpillar high-quality mini excavators in this smaller-size class for the past several years," said Korey Coon, general manager with responsibility for mini hydraulic excavators and small track-type tractors. "The market for these products has grown, and we believe that internally designing, manufacturing and distributing these excavators will provide an even higher value to our customers, dealers and shareholders." Spare parts availability, technical support and warranty for current models will continue as Caterpillar and Wacker Neuson work together going forward. Other products sold and serviced by Wacker Neuson at Cat dealers and rental stores will not be affected.
