Beginning in August, Linear launched an inter-office food drive ini- tiative, where competing teams from the various offices challenged and en- couraged one another to collect non- perishable food items for local com- munity food banks. From launch until the final drop- off in October, the food drive competi- tion resulted in the collection of more than 6,000 pounds of food that will benefit the San Diego Food Bank in California, Palmetto House in South Carolina, Chester County Food Bank in Pennsylvania and Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank in Michi- gan. "So often we find ourselves caught up in the chaos of life, that we forget there are people who can bene- fit from simple acts of giving," said Duane Paulson, senior vice-president of product and market development at Linear LLC.
