PRODUCT ROUNDUP PRODUCT ROUNDUP www.outdoorpowerequipment.com OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT FEBRUARY 2016 27 PRODUCTS PRODUCT NEWS Briggs & Stratton is introducing a max 3,600-psi, max 2.5-gpm, commercial- grade pressure washer to its line of Pro Series pressure washers. Powered by a Vanguard 6.5-gross- hp. engine, the new pressure washer is designed to give contractors enough power for any cleaning job, including prepping exterior siding for paint. The pressure washer is protected by the TransportGuard System, which is a simultaneous fuel and ignition shut-off designed to protect the engine from oil and fuel dilution during transit to and from the jobsite. "Commercial pressure washers are routinely transported by contractors from jobsite to jobsite, and the TransportGuard System ensures the unit will be ready to run when the contractor needs it," said Dan Roche, marketing manager at Briggs & Stratton Portable Power & Cleaning Systems. The new model gives contractors a 35-foot steel-braided hose to tackle the toughest cleaning jobs, while a 5-year limited commercial warranty offers unmatched peace of mind. Designed for commercial use, the system is mounted on a welded frame with easy-to-maneuver 13- inch pneumatic wheels, improved in- use storage and a steel brushguard for protection. A commercial-duty Triplex Plunger Pump with an adjustable pressure regulator and 5 Quick-Connect professional-grade Spray Tips give the user versatility for any job application. Briggs & Stratton adds new pressure washer to Pro Series for 2016 Corona Sharp Shooters The weight, narrow blade and long handle of Corona's Sharp Shooter shovel helps to drive the tool into the ground, which aids in breaking through even the hardest of soils. The Sharp Shooter's blade is angled for cutting or shaping holes, spading, planting and prying. Featuring a heavy-duty, 12-gauge, sharpened steel blade (14-1/2 inches tall by 5-1/2 inches wide), the Sharp Shooter fights dirt buildup, and gains strength with a closed-blade design. Thick, powder-coated handles made from steel provide strength and performance, while red touch points make the Sharp Shooter easier to find in the field. Designed for the professional who needs maximum digging and prying power, the Sharp Shooter is available in 78-inch long-handle (AS 90100) and 29- inch D-handle (AS 90110) models.
