The five new distributors — Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation, LL Johnson Distributing Company, RBI Corporation, Total Energy Systems, and Golden Eagle Distributing Corporation — offer sales and service support for customer needs to maintain Subaru engines on a wide range of machines, including generators and outdoor power equipment, such as lawn and garden equipment. "To support our dedication to our dealers and customers, we've partnered with distributors who are well known for their strong focus on customer service," said David Frank, vice presi- dent of sales and marketing at Subaru Industrial Power Products. "We believe these companies represent the Subaru brand well and will make it easy for customers to get the engines and parts they need." Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation provides a variety of outdoor equipment for industries such as turf equipment dealers, golf cours- es and irrigation contractors from locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. LL Johnson serves the Rocky Mountain and Midwestern states with its five Denver locations and supports customers and dealers with a wide range of power equipment for the grounds main- tenance and irrigation industries. RBI Corporation distributes outdoor power equipment in the Southeast and has warehouse locations in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky and Virginia. Total Energy Systems delivers power solutions to customers with generator sales and service and has locations in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota and North Dakota. Golden Eagle Distributing Corporation offers a diverse selection of power lawn and garden products and has facilities in California and Illinois. Subaru Industrial Power Products developed the industry's first high-performance chain-driven overhead cam (OHC) engine tech- nology in the industrial air-cooled market. Along with leading the industry as the first manufacturer to offer a 5-year warranty, Subaru builds engines with quality components that offer customers a low total cost of ownership and continued longevity. Warren promoted to branch manager at Stihl Northwest Stihl Inc. recently announced the promotion of Dave Warren to branch manager of Stihl Northwest in Chehalis, Wash., effective Jan. 1, 2016. Warren will be responsible for directing and managing the sales, distribution and service of all products, parts and accessories at the company- owned branch. He will also lead the development of advertising and marketing plans for the terri- tory, which encompasses Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. "With over 20 years of experience working with Stihl in both the United States and Canada, we know Warren will continue to be an asset to Stihl Northwest as branch manager," said Nick Jiannas, vice president of sales and marketing at Stihl Inc. Since 2012, Warren has worked as Stihl Northwest's sales and marketing manager. Before starting his career with Stihl Northwest, Warren worked as a service technician at a large Stihl dealership in Manitoba, Canada. In 1993, he officially joined Stihl Limited in Canada, where he started as a materials handler, and then obtained valuable experience as a regional manager in different territories across Canada. "The appointment as branch manager is an honor for me after working within the Stihl organization for more than two decades across two countries," said Warren. "I am looking to build upon the legacy of Stihl as the chosen brand among professionals and consumers. I want to ensure the success of our servicing dealers as we introduce Stihl to a new generation of customers." Warren succeeds Dave Bulger, who retired after 31 years with Stihl, on Dec. 31, 2015.
