No matter what size your company is, expedition is an as- pect of every business that must be se- riously dealt with to obtain a smoother running operation and increase prof- its. • WFN contributing editor Jim Hart customized his truck again, this time with synthetic grass. If you recall back in Nov. 1983 when Jim construct- ed a proportional chain link fence for his flat bed, now with the installation of synthetic grass, he's got a rolling showroom. Also, he gave the conclu- sion to the "panel weave chronicle." • Brian Warner of American Se- curity Fence talked about barbed tape. Warner said there was much confusion over barbed tape terminology. Some names which are used for generic ref- erence many times indicate a specific design for specific applications. • Members of the California Fence Contractors Association in northern California complained of what they perceived as unfair trade practices of some fence suppliers. This was a report on the Robinson-Patman Act, a federal anti-trust law that was ex- plained in a letter from the CFCA's legal council. • The President's Report on the state of small business said that 1983 was good for small business.
