The fresh lineup includes new Mules and Teryx side-by-sides and Brute Force ATV models. Following is a look at some of each. MULE PRO-FX Having received acclaim and awards fol- lowing its launch last year, the powerful and dependable Kawasaki Mule PRO-FXT is now available as a single-row seating variant called the Mule PRO-FX for the 2016 model year, giv- ing full-size side-by-side c u s t o m e r s a n o t h e r p u r c h a s e c h o i c e . The new single-row PRO-FX gains a larger steel cargo bed, giving it the larg- est bed in its class, 2 0 p e r - cent big- ger than a n y p r e - vious Mule, without sacrificing any of the cab's comfort, but increasing its hauling capacity. Developed alongside the PRO-FXT, the new Mule PRO-FX shares the same engine and chassis platform, meaning it is still the fast- est and most powerful Mule ever built, with independent suspension, powerful disc brakes, effective engine braking and optional speed- sensitive power steering. The cargo bed has a massive 1,000-lb. car- rying capacity and is able to accommodate a full-size wooden pallet with the tailgate closed — something the competition can't do! The PRO-FX is also able to tow up to 2,000 lbs. when the optional hitch is fitted, so the Mule PRO-FX will be perfectly suited to the job site, hobby farm or for a weekend adventure in the backwoods. With this much capability, the Mule PRO-FX will allow you to clear your to-do list, leaving you plenty of downtime once the work is done, and is always available for fun on the weekends. It is part of Kawasaki's expansive side- by-side family that continues to be Kawasaki Strong, built strong to work hard, backed by a factory three-year limited war- ranty and recognized as the market leader. The Mule PRO- FX comes in four m o d e l s , e a c h p a c k e d w i t h a host of Kawasaki Strong features. The non- E P S m o d e l comes stan- d a r d w i t h steel wheels and two DC outlets in the cab. It is avail- able in the Super Black finish. The second variation in the PRO-FX lineup is the EPS model. This comes standard with the same amenities as the non-EPS but with the addition of electric power steering (EPS) and a tilt steering wheel. This model is available in Timberline Green and Super Black, with a contrasting graphic along the doors and cargo bed. Next in the range is the desir- able EPS LE. This variation comes standard with a host of additional upgrades over the EPS model, including LED auxiliary headlights, aluminum wheels and a composite sun top. Color options are Timberline Green and Dark Royal Red with a contrasting graphic along the doors and cargo bed. The Mule PRO-FX is also available in Realtree Xtra Green Camo, which gives the avid hunter the ultimate color scheme for any adventure. The Camo model includes EPS, tilt steering function and LED auxiliary headlights as part of the package. The side-by-side packs a pow- erful punch thanks to its durable air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder 401cc engine that will work hard all day long. It has selectable four-wheel drive and a dual range (high and low) Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with forward and reverse gears. It also packs a dual mode locking rear differential that can be locked to provide maximum traction on dif- ficult terrain, or unlocked to min- i m i z e g r o u n d d i s t u r b a n c e o n g r o o m e d surfaces such as stadiums or sports fields. The Mule 610 4x4 has a tough s t e e l c a r g o b e d that can hold up to 400 lbs. and is secured by tough steel latches on the steel tailgate to allow it to cope with punishment during the work day. The cargo bed also tilts for easy engine access. The The 2016 Kawasaki Mule 610 4x4 SE Fleet model comes in a new Sunbeam Red color (MSRP $7,999) and is fitted with a number of standard items to make it more appealing to commercial applications. For instance, it is equipped with a horn to alert people to its presence, as well as a trailer hitch ball mount, (customers will require a separate hitch ball to suit their requirements) making it a valu- able tool in any situation. TERYX4 The Kawasaki Teryx4 vehicle is the pinnacle of side-by-side per- formance and style, especially with its new a t t e n t i o n - g r a b b i n g f r o n t b u m p e r , h o o d a n d headlight design. Able to accommodate four full-size adults, the side-by-side can provide exciting and reliable off-road enjoyment for the whole family. The 2016 Teryx4 side-by-side leads the way with performance, power and improved handling thanks to revised settings for its Fox Podium 2.0 shocks, allowing Kawasaki to set the benchmark in its class.
