FOCUS PSB V-twin Motorcycle www.PowersportsBusiness.com Powersports Business • April 4, 2016 • 15 motorcycles. The 2013 Victory Cross Country was up 6 percent in views from 2015, with the 2014 Indian Chieftain making its debut at No. 2. Unlike the list for Harley-Davidson, which was exclusively touring bikes, the "other" V-twin motorcycles top 10 list was equally split between street and touring motor- cycles. Indian and Victory bikes comprise the entire top 10 list. TOP 10 MODEL YEAR 2015 HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES After a year on the market, the Street 750 has rocketed onto the top 10 list at No. 8 for most-researched model year 2015 Harley- Davidson motorcycles. The motorcycle had a 73 percent increase in KBB.com hits for the first 41 days of 2016 compared to the last 41 days of 2015. Another newcomer for 2015, the FLTRXS Road Glide Special, was the second most popu- lar model year 2015 on KBB.com year-to-date for 2016. The FLHXS Street Glide Special earned its No. 1 spot by a significant margin. This year, the 2015 version of the same motorcycle gar- nered 71 percent more KBB.com hits than the No. 2 bike on the list. TOP 10 MODEL YEAR 2015 V-TWIN MOTORCYCLES (EXCLUDING HARLEY-DAVIDSON) Five manufacturers (Indian, Yamaha, Honda, Victory and Kawasaki) are represented on the top 10 model-year 2015 non-Harley- Davidson V-twin motorcycles list. Five of these model-year 2015 motor- cycles were also on the model-year 2014 top 10 list for the same category last year: the Yamaha Bolt and Bolt R-Spec, the Honda Shadow 750 Phantom, and the Victory Cross Country and Cross Country Tour. TOP AMERICAN V-TWIN MANUFACTURERS (EXCLUDING HARLEY-DAVIDSON) Harley-Davidson is the most-researched V-twin motorcycle manufacturer on KBB. com. The Japanese V-twin manufacturers also do quite well. It is interesting to look beyond thefive larger manufacturers to see who the top five most-researched other V-twin motorcycle manufacturers are and how popular they are on KBB.com. Victory has a commanding lead over all of the other V-twin manufacturers. For 2015, Victory recieved 65.5 percent of KBB.com hits for bikes in the smaller V-twin manufacturers catetory.
