Cathouse Continued from page 35 After a few days of question- able weather, the skies cleared for a beautiful sunny day as the poker run route itself started at Chester's Harley- Davidson in Reno, then moved on to Battle Born Harley-Davidson in Carson City. Both dealerships were in full swing with events taking place at their location with food, vendors, music and other entertainment. Then on to one of the baddest motorcycle custom and repair shops, Nautical Customs in Carson City. The next part of the planned route took us to the Bunny Ranch and Sagebrush Ranch in Carson City where we were able to check out the facilities, talk to the girls and even purchase some souvenirs. We then continued on the route along the back road up through Gold Hill to historic Virginia City for a poker stop at Silver Baron's Clubhouse. That little town was rocking, packed wall-to-wall with bikes, bikers, babes and beer. One last stop at the famous Mustang Ranch in Sparks, Nevada, before the fi nal stop at W.A.R. (Wicked and Ruthless) Customs in Reno for a great lunch of brats and fi xin's, live music and ven- dors. The winner of the poker run high hand of $2,500 was Troy Reynolds out of the state of Washington with a fl ush. Hell's Angels member Troy Regas boasted about the hard work of his brothers in preparing the food, and the other clubs that came from near and far to help man the poker stops in support of another year, another great event for over 1,300 riders and passengers that took part in this year's 20th anniversary Cathouse Poker Run. Again this year, Hell's Angels Nevada Nomads will be donating $1,000 of turkeys this holiday season to the less fortunate of northern Nevada from the proceeds of this event.
