" Kencove sponsors fence training school BLAIRSVILLE, Penn. — Ken- cove Farm Fence Supplies is again sponsoring the Kiwi Fence Training School, a hands-on training course de- signed for those who want to learn how to install agricultural fencing, ex- pand service options or improve skills. The school will be held Oct. 25- 26, with a registration deadline of Oct. 15. The course is taught by well- known and experienced professionals in the industry, and offers the latest in- stallation techniques and building op- tions. The school will involve two days of fast paced hands-on training, and will go on regardless of weather, so come prepared, Kencove urges. Students will learn to build high- tensile fence and woven wire fence, as well as Hotcote, Kencote™ and Horserail fences. Estimating will also be covered, including a discussion of the cost dif- ference of short fences versus longer runs, and students will learn how to in- corporate all costs into the equation. Also discussed will be record keeping, customer service, proper in- surance and other aspects of running a successful business.
