National President's Message Dear Members of the National Catholic Society of Foresters, A SPRING MESSAGE We had forty days of Lent to look at ourselves and try to change and repent our bad habits. We are now starting our forty days of the Easter season to sing out the Good News that Jesus Christ has risen. He is here with us in the sunshine, in the rain drops, in the wind that blows to dry the soil. In the smile of a neighbor, in the helping hand that carries your groceries, in the picture your child draws or colors and you display on your refrigerator. Jesus is all around us; are you ready to encounter Him? Let Him into your life and celebrate His love. 2011 ANNUAL REPORT Our financial statement is shown on pages 24 and 25. As you review them, you will discover that we are very financially sound. Our surplus position (the money the Society would have left after paying all of our liabilities) has increased over a million dollars, which means your money is very well protected. We would still like your help; we would like to increase our life sales. So if you know someone that could use life insurance, let us know — no one is invincible. Enjoy the wonderful spring weather, and remember who is sending it to you. Yours in Love, Benevolence and Charity, NATIONAL PRESIDENT MARGARET BABINAT Spring 2012 — www.ncsf.com 23
