The seminar will be held at the Encon training facility in Hay- ward, Calif. USAutomatic's Mike Quattle- baum will cover their entire product line as well as solar installations and system design, LCR programming, control board functions, and trou- bleshooting. For convenience, Encon is offering two sessions that day con- sisting of the same material. Session I training will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch. In other training activities, Encon's Justin Kilby traveled to Kalispell, Mont. to participate in a training seminar held on Jan. 15 at the Hilton Garden Inn. Multiple salespeople and estima- tors in the area attended the event, which was focused on general product knowledge, how to recognize opportu- nities, and how to increase sales over- all. Encon was the only distributor asked to participate in the event. Ac- cording to John Hayden of Idaho Fence, "Justin did an outstanding job on his presentation. Our owner and sales staff were impressed with his knowledge and his ability to convey so much information in such a short time." Additional companies who pre- sented at the seminar included Ameris- tar Fence Products, LMT Mercer Group, and DuraMax.
