In addition to the annual festival held the thirdweekend ofAugust, Irish Fest includes a Summer School, theWard IrishMusicArchives and other programming throughout the year. 9 • Thursday, August 18: Admission to the Grand Hooley is $5 from 5-10 p.m. Or enjoy free admission with the donation of school supplies (markers, notebooks, backpacks, etc.) for children served by Hope House. • Friday, August 19: Enter the festival gates for $5 from 4-5:30 p.m. as part of $5 Buck Friday. • Sunday, August 21: Military Day: Active, reserve, retired, and guard personnel receive admission for two with valid military I.D. at the Main Gate’s “Military Ticket Window.” Donate non-perishable food items at the South Entrance prior to the Liturgy for Peace & Justice for free admission to the festival upon the closing of the Mass. College students with valid I.D. receive $3 off from 2-7 p.m. at any ticket window.
