STURGIS MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM GETS NEW MARKETING DIRECTOR The Sturgis Museum & Hall of Fame Board of Directors has named industry veteran Tigra Tsujikawa as marketing and development director. "It is our goal to expand the operation into a world-class facility and become a true destination," said executive director Christine Paige Diers. "For the past decade we have offered visitors to the Black Hills a unique opportunity to not only visit the home of the largest motorcycle rally in the country but also learn about the people who helped create the sport and culture of motorcycling, and view our compelling collection of vintage motor- cycles, artifacts and memorabilia. VERDUGO JOINS DUCATI NORTH AMERICA Nathon Verdugo has been hired as public relations manager for Ducati North Amer- ica. Verdugo will oversee all PR activities for Ducati North America and will be based at the company's headquar- ters in Cupertino, Calif., where he will report to the marketing director Arrick Maurice. Verdugo comes to D u c a t i a s a l i f e l o n g motorcyclist with nearly a decade of experi- ence in the motorcycle industry. Following positions managing PR efforts for the ESPN X Games as well as stints at Dainese and Alpinestars, he most recently served as the global brand manager at Troy Lee Designs in Corona, Calif. "I have a passion for any and all things on two wheels, and having the chance to align myself with a world-renowned brand while working alongside like-minded industry col- leagues whom I respect is a dream come true," said Verdugo. "I'm looking forward to helping Ducati inspire the same passion in others that it has in me." TUCKER ROCKY PICKS BALDWIN AS QUADBOSS BRAND MANAGER Tucker Rocky/Biker's Choice has promoted Jason Baldwin to the role of QuadBoss brand manager. Baldwin will be responsible for leading all aspects of the QuadBoss brand, including marketing/advertising, new prod- uct development and brand positioning within the ATV/UTV market. Baldwin has more than 12 years of relevant industry experience. Prior to taking on this new role, Baldwin was a sales consultant for Tucker Rocky/Biker's Choice. In addition, he has worked for industry-leading brands such as Polaris, Cannondale and Gas Gas. "Tucker Rocky/Biker's Choice is commit- ted to aggressively growing the QuadBoss brand as we seek to serve the broader ATV/ UTV market with an array of relevant and profitable products," said Hank Desjardins, VP of marketing for Tucker Rocky/Biker's Choice.
