www.cheersonline.com 11 April 2015 • In the March issue's Growth Brands feature, a sidebar highlighting RumChata erroneously indicated that the rum cream liqueur sold 5,400 nine-liter cases last year. RumChata actually sold 540,000 cases in 2014. Also, Green Mark Vodka from Roust Inc. was left off of the chart of Rising Star Growth Brand award winners. The brand went from 14,000 nine-liter cases sold in 2013 to 27,000 cases in 2014, an increase of 92.9%. PRODUCTS Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon refreshed its packaging, including a new bottle and redesigned label. The brand has invested in a premium cork closure, plus an embossed label on high-quality paper for a more contemporary look. It has a smooth-sip- ping, softer taste, the company says, with hints of honey and butter, followed by a warm fi nish with a touch of spiciness. The prod- uct is available in 750-ml. and 1.75-liter bottles. Pinnacle vodka has added two new fl avors: Mimosa and Habanero. The mimosa has a strong, citrus or- ange fl avor with notes of champagne and pear, according to the company. The habanero is slightly sweet with a ripe and spicy habanero pepper fl avor, and a lingering heat and spicy fi nish. Both the mimosa (60 proof) and habanero (70 proof) fl avors have a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. AnCnoc has announced the release of its 1975 Vintage and 18 Year Old. The 1975 single malt was drawn from just three casks, and only 1,590 bottles will be made available worldwide. On the palate it has notes of fruitcake, sticky toffee and seasoned leather, the company says, and a suggested retail price of $500. The non-chill fi ltered, single malt 18 year old ex- hibits oriental spices and toasted vanilla on the palate. Its suggested retail price is $105. Samuel Adams has released Rebel Rouser Double IPAand Rebel Rider Session IPA. Rebel Rouser, at 8.4% ABV and 85 IBUs, showcases bright hop fl avors of pine, citrus, fl oral and spice, the company says. Rebel Rider Session IPA, at 4.5% and 45 IBUs, contains citrus and tropical fruit notes of apricot and tangerine, with hints of pine. Balblair has announced it vintage lineup for 2015. The 2003 vintage, with a suggested retail price of $70, has fl oral notes and hints of citrus fruits, apricots and honey, according to the company. The 1999 ($90) is full bodied on the pal- ate, sweet and spicy with hints of honey, vanilla and leather. The 1990 ($140) has notes of raisins, toffee and honey. And the 1983 ($330) has scents of butterscotch, toffee, and/or fragrant vanilla, and tastes of fresh fruits and honey. CORRECTIONS Maestro Dobel Tequila has announced three newly released expressions: Maestro Dobel Silver, with a suggested retail price of $41.99, Maestro Dobel Reposado ($44.99) and Maestro Dobel Añejo ($54.99). Each uses single-estate blends, produced in small batches for character, and then double distilled for smoothness, the company says.
