Sun Orchard lime juice 2 dashes Tabasco or hot sauce Citrus salt for glass Muddle watermelon in a mixing glass, being sure to press the melon well to re- lease the juices. Add tequila, agave, lime juice and hot sauce. Fill with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a Martini glass with a half rim of citrus salt and garnish with a watermelon wedge. Pom pomegranate juice House-made sour mix* Combine tequila, triple sec, sour mix and pome- granate juice over ice in a pint glass and shake back and forth into a metal shaker. Rim the pint glass with salt, pour contents from shaker into glass, and garnish with a lime wheel. * For sour mix: Mix two cups of simple syrup, one cup of lemon juice, one cup of lime juice and ½ cup of grapefruit juice. Root beer syrup ¾ oz. Lemon juice 1 dash Dale DeGroff's Pimento bitters Top with club soda Shake all ingredients except for club soda with ice. Strain into a highball glass over ice. Top with soda and garnish with a lemon wheel dusted with Old Bay seasoning. Steve Fette of Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ, created this recipe. Passion & Pain 1 ½ oz. Applewood smoked tequila 1 oz. Passion fruit puree ½ oz. Lemon juice ½ oz. Giffard apricot liqueur ½ oz. Agave nectar 3 drops Jalapeño tincture Puree passion fruit, combine with applewood smoked tequila, lemon juice, apricot liquor, agave and jalapeño tincture. Serve with a passion fruit slice on the glass. The mixologists at Cantina La Veinte in Miami created this recipe. Pur pleR ita 1 oz. Don Julio reposado tequila ½ oz. Sweet vermouth ½ oz. Six Grapes port 1 oz. Sour mix Combine ingredients and serve on the rocks, garnish with an orange peel. The mixologists at the La Concha Resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico, created this recipe. Fiesta 75 1 ¾ oz. Partida blanco tequila 1 oz. Veev acai liqueur ¾ oz. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice 6 Raspberries Champagne or sparkling wine Shake all ingredients with ice except for the Champagne or sparkling wine. Strain over fresh ice into a highball glass and top with Champagne to fi nish. Mixologist Jacques Bezuidenhout created this recipe. Fair Weather Phoenix 1 ½ oz. Lunazul reposado tequila ½ oz. Ilegal Mezcal ¾ oz. Sorel ¼ oz. Cruzan Black Strap rum ¼ oz. Demerara syrup 3 dashes Mole bitters 1 dash Angostura bitters 1 Muddled marinated chipotle pepper Combine ingredients in mixing tin. Strain over rocks glass with ice and garnish with a grapefruit peel. The mixologists at the Andaz 5th Ave. hotel in New York created this recipe. Otoñal Old Fashioned 1 oz. Tequila Don Julio Añejo ½ oz. Apple brandy 1 tsp. Mexican cinnamon syrup 2 dashes Apple bitters 1 dash Angostura bitters Combine tequila, apple brandy, Mexican cinnamon syrup, apple and Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice. Stir and strain contents into an Old Fashioned glass over a large rock. Garnish with apple fan and partially grated cinnamon stick. Recipe created by mixologist Marshall Altier. CALL FOR RECIPES!
