Starborn's new Pro Plug System for PVC is available in eight Enduris colors, including Enduris's four mono- chromatic soft earthy colors (Ash- wood, Beechwood, Olivewood, and Sable) and four variegated dark rich colors (Slate, Chestnut, Cedar, and Sequoia). The Pro Plug System for PVC features plugs made from actual Enduris capped cellular PVC materi- al, hence the colors and grains match perfectly. The matching plugs conceal screws used in deck installations for a smooth, clean finish. For Enduris products, the Pro Plug System provides a cost-avoidance and work-saving opportunity for contrac- tors and DIYs, the company noted. Pro Plug eliminates the time-con- suming practice of cutting PVC fasten- er plugs on site. This leads to quicker installation of all Enduris products, resulting in a professional look. "The last remaining challenge for installing Enduris's Endeck products at the highest level of professionalism has now been overcome," said Stacie Anderson, Enduris marketing man- ager. "Any installer, from DIYs to high-end contractors, can achieve per- fect plugging of screws and fasteners, without concern for grain matching." "In addition to assuring a profes- sional deck or fascia installation, the Pro Plug System for Endeck capped cellular PVC also offers installers the option of using Starborn's stainless star-drive fasteners," said Starborn marketing manager Steven Gertner. "Now, anyone can install En- duris's Endeck products with plugs made out of Enduris capped cellular PVC material, alleviating any con- cerns about whether the plug grain and color will match." The Pro Plug System packaged for use with Enduris is sold as two sepa- rate components: (1) Capped cellular PVC deck kits containing Enduris color-matched plugs and fasteners and Shown above left is the driving tool for use with Pro Plug System PVC deck and trim kits.
