"We are thrilled to be returning to Laughlin for the UTV World Championship in 2017. Developing the UTV World Championship into the world's premier UTV race event has been amazing," said UTVUnderground.com CEO Joey DiGiovanni. "Our goal, since creating the UTV World Championship in 2015, has been to give rac- ers, companies and all those involved in UTV recreation an event they can all come together at. The support we have received from racers, sponsors, companies, the city of Laughlin, state of Nevada and the industry as a whole has been paramount for making this event a success. But we're really just getting started. We have a lot of new ideas we plan on implementing to improve the event and continue to grow entries, specta- tors and our marketing impact." Racers from around North America have looked to the UTV World Championship as the "Super Bowl" of UTV racing. Names like RJ Anderson, Rhys Millen, Mitch Guthrie Jr., Wayne Matlock, Marty Hart, Dustin Jones and Branden Sims have all competed at the UTV World Championship, making it the only UTV race that allows amateurs to have a shot at competing alongside the best racers the sport has to offer. The UTV World Championship has enjoyed two years of uninterrupted national television coverage and is beamed into more than 80 million homes nationwide via its NBC Sports television package. With multiple hours of national television programming, as well as exposure all over the globe through various industry print and online publi- cations and social media, the UTV World Championship has boosted UTV racers into the mainstream. In 2017, the UTV World Championship is planning increased spectator and enthusiast interaction, including trail rides to pair with the Best in the Desert-led Poker Run, which allows fans and racers to take their vehicles through the UTV World Championship race course. Also returning in 2017 will be the inclusion of the Youth Production Race for competitors ages 6-12. This race has given the future of the sport an opportunity to shine on the industries big- gest stage. The UTV World Championship has become the go-to event for companies looking to rep- resent their products in front of the industry's best racers, teams, fans and UTV enthusiasts. In place for 2017 is the return of the indus- tries largest UTV Tech & Contingency where hundreds of the sports best brands are able to showcase their products while mingling within the festive atmosphere. The 2017 UTV World Championship is expected to be the biggest and best UTV World Championship to date. PSB UTV World Championship returns to Laughlin The 2017 UTV World Championship in Laughlin, Nevada, will include more events for spectators and enthusiasts than were offered in the past.
