The two facilities, currently oper- ating as Enduris Backyard, are locat- ed in Melbourne, Fla. and Ft. Lauder- dale, Fla. Through the acquisition, Poly Vi- nyl Creations will be further strate- gically located in Florida to increase its level of service to its customers and provide a higher level of product availability, said Robert L. Burton, Jr., CFP, CEO of Poly Vinyl Creations. "We are extremely excited over this acquisition. By expanding our footprint in Florida, we will increase our ability to offer various trades, in- cluding the fence and deck contractor trades, both standard and custom spe- cialty outdoor products," said Burton, who was one of the original individ- uals to sell vinyl fence in the state of Florida in the early 1980s. On Aug. 4, 2017, Enduris Ex- trusions notified the state of its plan to permanently close their facilities throughout the state of Florida. Between the two facilities, ap- proximately 16 jobs will now be saved in the Florida economy through this acquisition by Poly Vinyl Creations. "With Poly Vinyl Creations pur- chasing our Enduris Backyard loca- tions, we are very fortunate they plan to be able to continue the operations for our employees," said John For- bis, CEO, Enduris Extrusions, Inc. "Poly Vinyl Creations will be able to continue to service customers and employees and bring a new dynamic with their high quality and innovative product mix to the Enduris Backyard locations," "Currently, the Enduris Backyard operations only provide vinyl fence and decking primarily to fence and deck contractors. With the acquisition by Poly Vinyl Creations these two op- erations will have the ability to offer a full line of vinyl, steel and aluminum outdoor products focusing on fence, deck, railing and garden structures as well as a full line of hardware and other accessories. The ability to offer customization and specialty products will exponentially increase from the acquisition by Poly Vinyl Creations." "Acquiring these two locations triples our presence in the state of Florida and immediately achieves some of our strategic goals as it relates to expansion," said Jessica Burton, Poly Vinyl Creations vice-president of sales & marketing. "We have grown through our ded- ication to offering a diverse mixture of high quality products at competi- tive pricing and a dedication to cus- tomer service. The acquisition of the two Enduris Backyard locations will immediately allow us to increase our customer base on the East Coast of Florida." Enduris Extrusions operated the Enduris Backyard operations as divi- sions to have the ability to provide its customer base with a fabricated prod- uct instead of only profiles, as was available from the parent company. As the Poly Vinyl Creations core business is fabricating vinyl products to standard and custom designs as well as welding, bending and other processes, the acquisition is extreme- ly beneficial for the employees who would have otherwise lost their jobs, customers who would have had to search farther for products not avail- able locally, as well as the local econ- omies involved. "Poly Vinyl Creations is a great opportunity for our Enduris Backyard operations to continue under their umbrella," said Rick Wearne, sales & marketing manager of Enduris Extru- sions. "I am excited that it will offer an opportunity for our employees as well as the customer base we have de- veloped at these locations. Poly Vinyl Creations currently employs about 48 employees among its three operations and this acqui- sition will increase the employment to 64 employees throughout Flor- ida, Georgia, and North Carolina, with 70% of the employees located throughout Florida.
