October 2002 Here are some articles and items that were being covered in the Octo- ber 2002 issue of World Fence News, 15 years ago this month. • The cover story for October discussed a unique vinyl "split rail" fence job for a residence in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. The customer wanted the fence to look like his porch fenc- ing that was a PVC post and railing system. Initially, the customer said he wanted the fence to surround his property and run up both sides of the driveway. He was considering a stan- dard three-rail horse fence. He asked for PVC because his house was totally maintenance-free and he appreciated those attributes of vinyl. Mike Kilpat- rick of A.B.E. Fencing located near Allentown provided this distinctive fence for the customer.
