38 • MAY 2015 • WORLD FENCE NEWS Encon Electronics announces series of training events with LiftMaster, HySecurity and All-O-Matic HAYWARD, Calif. — On May 4 the Encon Electronics team will host a LiftMaster training day. LiftMaster regional trainer Bill McCoy and radio controls sales manager Sherry John- son will conduct the open forum training event. McCoy has been training in- stalling dealers at the LiftMaster Training Academy in Tucson, Ariz. for 24 years and Johnson has been working on developing, marketing and selling transmitters for 13 years. Dealers are invited to have lunch and "drop in" for one-on-one training with LiftMaster representatives any- time between noon and 5 p.m. They will meet the reps, have specific ques- tions answered and learn about new LiftMaster products. McCoy will focus on the exten- sive LiftMaster gate operator line and their new keypads, and Johnson will focus on Pass- port products and radios. Dealer edu- cation continues on June 9 when HySecurity pres- ident and CEO Brian Denault will be at En- con to conduct a hands-on train- ing seminar featuring the StrongArm Park DC barrier operator. Denault will discuss the technical attributes of the StrongArm Park and highlight its many features, including the Smart DC controller and advanced breakaway barrier arm. Joining Denault will be HySecuri- ty technical trainer and sales engineer Daniel Butler and Northwest regional sales manager Bob Vetter. Lunch and training will run from noon to 4 p.m. In late June, Encon will host All-O-Matic for a training workshop led by national sales manager Luis Guiterrez and head engineer Fortino Tarula. The two will focus on their new TORO24 swing gate actuator and the SL-45 slide gate operator. All three upcoming events will be held at Encon's state-of-the-art train- ing facility in Hayward, Calif. and will consist of an "open house" for- mat. Dealers are welcome to "drop-in" at their convenience at the aforemen- tioned dates and times. Call Encon at 800-782-5598 to learn more about the training events. Learn more about Encon Elec- tronics, a leading gate operator and access control distributor, at the web site www.enconelectronics.com. So these two roaches, Tom and Oscar, are hanging out next to a dumpster enjoying a snack. "Hey Tom" said Oscar to his friend, "You know that restaurant down the block? I went there yes- terday to pick up some scraps, and I couldn't believe how clean it was. I could practically see my re- flection through the shiny waxed floor." "Oscar," hollered Tom, spitting the food out of his mouth, "please not while I am eating!!"
