Nearly 17 percent of all PG&A sold is body parts, according to a CDK Global Recreation study provided exclusively to Powersports Business. Engine parts follow at 9.1 percent, and electrical products are third at 8.0 percent of all PG&A sold. Apparel (6.9 percent) and tires (6.6 percent) round out the top five. The top 10 PG&A categories in total account for 69 percent of all PG&A sales. The study looked at 56.4 million part numbers sold by 2,300 powersports dealers in the U.S. and Canada. DISTRIBUTORS USED CDK Global Recreation also looked at the dis- tributors used by U.S. dealers. Thirteen percent of metric dealers source their parts from Tucker Rocky, followed by Parts Unlimited at 11 per- cent and Western Power Sports at 8 percent. Tucker Rocky is the No. 1 distributor for metric dealers in the Northeast region (23 percent), West region (20 percent), California region (19 percent) and South region (17 per- cent).
