All three of the FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic motorcycles garnered less interest than they did during the same time period last year. The list of the top 10 Harley-Davidson V-twin motorcycles had an average model year of 2010. This was the youngest average for any of the lists of popular V-twins. 2014 HARLEY-DAVIDSONS The list of the top 10 most researched 2014 model-year Harley-Davidson V-twin motorcycles is split evenly between street and touring bikes. The first three models on the list each received significantly more KBB.com web hits than any of the other seven models on the top 10 list. On average, 2014 model-year Harley- Davidsons saw an increase of 26 percent in KBB.com web hits. For all previous model years, the F L H X S t r e e t G l i d e and FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic models dominate t h e i n t e r e s t i n Harley-Davidson m o t o rc y c l e s o n K B B . c o m ; h o w - ever, for the 2014 m o d e l y e a r, t h e FLHXS Street Glide Special garnered more KBB.com web hits than the FLHX Street Glide. The FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra-Limited also received a higher rank- ing than the FLHTCU. JAPANESE V-TWIN MOTORCYCLES Honda motorcycles hold eight of the top 10 spots for Japanese V-twin motorcycles both under and over 1000cc, dominating both lists. The Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic claimed the remaining two spots on the list of the top 10 larger-displacement Japanese V-twin motorcycles. The average model year is 2005 for both the larger- and smaller-displacement top 10 lists for Japanese V-twin motorcycles. The larger-displacement Japanese V-twin motorcycles saw an average decrease in KBB.com web hits of 2 percent, whereas the smaller bikes lost an average of 13 percent. Although it was Honda that dominated the top 10 list of Japanese V-twin motorcycles under 1000cc, it was a Yamaha, with its 2007 V Star 650 Classic, which took the No. 1 spot on the list.
