The Foreman Rubicon, FourTrax Rincon and Rancher models with Independent Rear Suspension have enjoyed remarkable success, and those ATV models return in Honda's lineup with new color options. At the same time, Hon- da's swingarm-equipped lineup, which has set durability, quality and reliability standards for both heavy-duty work and recreation, contin- ues to offer an unsurpassed selection. Honda also remains the only manufacturer to offer the superior beltless technology of an Automatic DCT transmission on an ATV. The 2016 Honda ATV lineup offers the most diversity to date, along with an array of Honda Genuine Accessories. "Honda's position as the top ATV seller in America is a result of our focus on the cus- tomer," said Lee Edmunds, manager of Motor- cycle Marketing Communications at American Honda. "Our exceptional quality, value and unmatched reliability are well known, and our class-leading features and innovations are evident in our first models for 2016. FOREMAN RUBICON Proving that independent rear suspension is applicable for everything from daily tasks to weekend adventures, Honda's Foreman Rubi- con boasts superior engineering that makes it confidence-inspiring for tackling tough trails and comfortable for spending long days in the saddle. A proven, efficient 500-class engine is standard on all models, as are 4x4 and IRS, while two transmission choices are offered: conventional (the only manual-shift IRS on the market) and revolutionary Automatic DCT. Deluxe models — with cast-aluminum wheels and red A-arms and springs — are available for both transmission iterations. Price: $7,799 base MSRP Availability: June 2015 FOREMAN 4X4 Honda's hardworking Foreman 4x4 swing- arm models also return for 2016, their sturdy chassis and proven 500-class engine ready to tackle any chore or adventure. Four different available models provide choices between manual and electric shift, and standard and electric power steering; all come standard with a locking front differen- tial. Also new for 2016 is an exciting new color option: orange. Price: $7,099 base MSRP Availability: May 2015 RANCHER Recognized as ATV Of The Year by ATV.com, the 420cc Rancher is available with an extensive array of available features. Whether customers are looking for swingarm rear suspension or IRS, EPS, manual-shift, push-button Electric Shift Program (ESP), Automatic DCT, two-wheel drive or four — the Rancher has them covered. Price: $5,199 base MSRP Availability: May/June 2015 RINCON For anyone looking for a large-displacement, capable ATV, the Rincon fits the bill, with a 675cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine; three-speed automatic transmission, and IRS. This model can be personalized with an array of Honda Genuine Accessories, and the Rincon is available in three colors, including Honda Phantom Camo. New for 2016, the Rincon models have black racks. Price: $9,299 base MSRP Availability: June 2015 RECON For situations where maxi- mum maneuverability is called for, Honda's nimble Recon is at the ready; its 250-class engine, middleweight footprint and 2WD being the per- fect combination for tighter trails. The affordable Recon is still offered in two models — one with a conventional foot-shift trans- mission and one with Honda's push-button Electric Shift Pro- gram (ESP). For 2016, the Recon gets updated emissions equipment and a new, easier-to-use reverse/parking-brake mecha- nism, as well as an all-new green color option. Price: TBD Availability: July 2015 TRX250X Sport-focused ATV riders will be pleased with the return of Honda's fun TRX250X, which is still powered by an air-cooled, overhead-cam engine that has plenty of power and torque and is longitudinally mounted for a smooth, efficient power delivery. With Honda's innova- tive SportClutch, new riders won't have to fret about stalling, while veteran riders will also feel at home. For 2016, the TRX250X is available in new color options: white, and a red/white special-edition model with red suspension springs and hubs. All have black frames. Price: TBD Availability: July 2015 TRX90X Honda hasn't forgotten its younger ATV rid- ers with this new-model announcement, as the super-reliable TRX90X is back with rider- friendly features like push-button electric starting, smooth power delivery, clutchless transmission and a keyed ignition switch. At the same time, the littlest FourTrax gets big- ATV styling inspired by the TRX450R.
