FOCUS PSB Adventure Touring 18 • August 15, 2016 • Powersports Business www.PowersportsBusiness.com Ducati and Yamaha bikes gaining views on KBB.com BY LISA PELISSIER CONTRIBUTING WRITER Interest in dual sport motorcy- cles, which includes adventure touring motorcycles, dropped 8 percent through year-to-date 2016 compared to year-to-date 2015 figures, according to data from Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com. The data is from views on KBB.com from Jan. 1-June 6, 2016, compared to the same dates in 2015. More than 40 percent of dual sport motorcycle traffic for model years 2010 to 2016 featured adventure touring makes. Two model year 2013 motorcycles, the Yamaha Super Ténéré and Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS, posted gains in KBB.com traffic. It is unsurprising to see BMW adventure touring motorcycles lead other manufactur- ers in total interest by make, as it has a strong product presence in the segment.
