The Houston area has shown a 43.4 percent increase (rolling 12-month, April 2015-April 2016) in sport bike sales, the highest market growth in the segment in the nation. Los Angeles (25.1 percent) and Dallas-Fort Worth (20.9) also were big movers in the sport bike segment for that time period. Overall, the sport bike market in the U.S. during that time period was up 9.2 percent. Phoenix dealers had a 3.0 percent decrease in sport bike sales, the Statistical Surveys, Inc. data shows.
