Year-to-date figures through May show an increase of 4.5 percent to 65,761 motorcycles sold. CFMOTO USA HIRES RSM FOR CALIFORNIA CFMOTO USA announced the hiring of Craig Clinkenbeard as regional sales manager for the California/Nevada territory. It was the last RSM open territory for CFMOTO. Clinkenbeard returns to the industry after having previously worked for BRP and Suzuki. RENTHAL LEAVES CALIFORNIA FOR ARIZONA Brand manager Brad Cameron reports that the Renthal warehouse and offices in Valencia, Calif., were relocated to Chandler, Ariz., at the end of June. Cameron will remain based in Valencia at his home office. The new address, also the home of fellow MAG brand Dragon- Fire, is: Renthal Ltd., 3191 N. Washington St., Suite 2, Chandler, AZ 85225. Renthal manufactures and designs motorcycle handlebars, chainwheels, grips and accessories for the off-road, street and ATV markets. Renthal's manufacturing and engineering facility is located near Manchester, England. Renthal's handlebars, grips and chainwheels have won more U.S. and world titles than all of its competitors combined. HIBBERT LEADS TEAM TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY Snocross champion Tucker Hibbert is lead- ing a team focused on raising money for Make- A-Wish Minnesota. No stranger to setting and achieving goals, the 14-time X Games medalist is asking fans, friends and family to join his Team 68 Walk for Wishes team to raise $6,800 — the average cost for Make-A-Wish Minnesota to grant the wish of a child. On Saturday, Aug. 6, Hibbert will lead Team 68 in a 5K walk through Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis at the 10th Annual Walk for Wishes event. A donation of $20 or more earns you a spot on the team and a limited edition Team 68 T-shirt. Every dollar raised by the team will go directly to Make-A-Wish Minnesota. "We're really excited to get Team 68 fans together to raise money for Make-A-Wish Minnesota," Hibbert said. "Last year, when we were involved with granting a boy's wish to get a snowmobile, we experienced firsthand the power of a wish. PARTS UNLIMITED HIRES NEW REP FOR CENTRAL WEST REGION Parts Unlimited has hired Devin Mitchell as its new sales rep for the Central West region. Mitchell hails from Washington, where he spends his time on café bike builds. "I love track days, boat shows and bike nights. I can't wait to meet new peo- ple," he said. YAMAHA ANNOUNCES BETA TOOLS PARTNERSHIP Yamaha Parts and Accessories, a division of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., announced an exclusive collaboration with Peerless Hardware Manufacturing Com- pany, the North American importer for Beta Tools of Italy, to deliver a new line of profes- sional-grade, hand tools and storage. WINE NAMED TO JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT HALL OF FAME Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest announced in June that Polaris Industries chairman and CEO Scott Wine has been chosen as one of its annual Business Hall of Fame Laureates. Wine joined Polaris, the $4.7 billion market leader in powersports, which pro- duces off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles and on-road electric/hybrid- powered vehicles, in September 2008, after serving as the president of Fire Safety Americas, a division of United Technolo- gies, from 2007 to August 2008. Prior to that, Wine held senior leadership positions at Danaher Corporation from 2003 to 2007, serving as president of its Jacob Vehicle Systems and Veeder-Root subsidiar- ies. From 1996 to 2003, he held various inter- national and domestic posts with Honeywell's Aerospace Division. Wine received an economics degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1989 and served as a Naval Supply Officer until 1996, beginning onboard the USS Lewis B. Puller and con- cluding at the Pentagon. He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park. Wine serves on the boards of Polaris Indus- tries Inc., US Bancorp., Terex Corporation and the Greater Twin Cities United Way. Wine was honored as the 2011 Executive of the Year by Powersports Business. This new offering allows dealers to instantly post unit inventory as well as available parts and accessories to their website directly from their CDK Lightspeed system. "The integration that dealers will have between their website and their Lightspeed system will be deeper and more advanced than we have ever developed," said Kris Denos, vice president for CDK Global Recreation.
