This is why we expect Flextronics to exceed the market demand expectations in production over the next 90 days. We cannot be more excited to go full-throttle with our delivery phase. The AR-1 is a ground breaking invention that redefines and elevates motorcycle riding, and now we'll be able to really see the results at a mass level on the road." PAUL YAFFE'S BAGGER NATION UNVEILS NEW OEM FENDER LINE FOR BAGGERS Paul Yaffe's Bagger Nation, the custom shop known for providing the Harley-Davidson aftermarket with trend-setting designs of the highest quality, has released a new line of solid steel OEM-sized fenders. These new ver- sions of the classic Yaffe styled fenders come in all-new dimensions that perfectly fit all touring stock front wheels and tires. "These fenders fit all 16-, 17-, 18- and 19-inch wheels perfectly," said Paul Yaffe. "In other words, they cover all stock front wheel applications. We accomplish this with our exclusive double radius tooling paired with our proprietary fender width. These cre- ate a glove-like fit on all four sizes of wheels!" All-new tooling allows each fender to be "deep-drawn" from one inde- structible piece of 14-gauge steel and then precision laser cut for perfect symmetry. These stamped fenders are per- fectly straight — no need for any bodywork or modifications. Simply check them for a perfect fit, then scuff and paint them. All mounting holes are pre-drilled at the factory, making them a true bolt-on accessory — no spinning, no welding, no seams or grooves that need working. The new OEM Fender Line comes in three styles: the Thicky, DEI and Talon. Each fender is handcrafted in the USA, using an exclusive double radius and unique width that ensures these fenders fit your front wheel and tire like a second skin. All fenders are E-Coated for corrosion protection, and every one of them comes with a free set of polished spacers (or riders can upgrade to black or chrome). METZELER ROADTEC 01 NAMED TOP TIRE The new Roadtec 01, the tire launched by Metzeler in 2016, won the 2016 sport tour- ing tire comparative test made by the German magazine Motorrad. The comparison, won by the Roadtec 01, topped No. 2 Dunlop RoadSmart III, No. 3 Continental Road Attack 2 EVO and No. 4. Michelin Pilot Road 4. The comparative test was conducted using tires in 120/70 ZR 17 front and 180/55 ZR 17 rear sizes mounted on a Honda CB1000R. The test took place in France at the Circuit de Automobile Karland Mireval owned by the Goodyear-Dunlop Group and in the streets around the circuit for the road test. The testers from Motorrad took into account several factors testing the tires. All tires were tested in two specific tests, a road test to simulate daily use and a wet test on the track. Each test included parameters such as handling, steering precision, grip and stabil- ity in cornering, grip under acceleration and the braking distance at 100 km/h, plus many other factors. EXPANSION AHEAD FOR KLOCK WERKS IN SOUTH DAKOTA Brian Klock, a 2015 Powersports Business Industry Leader of the Year, has discussed plans to add a $600,000 warehouse at Klock Werks to "boost its growing distribution efforts for motorcycle parts," according to The Daily Republic of Mitchell, S.D. The company has been in business for almost 20 years, and Klock says that Mitch- ell, South Dakota, is the perfect fit for the business. Klock commented in the interview, "with technology, you can do whatever you want from right here [in Mitchell]." The ability to airmail the company's fenders and wind- shields worldwide make it possible for Klock Werks to stay in South Dakota.
