Their percentage of sport UTV sales run from 15 percent of all UTV sales in South Dakota, to only 6 percent of total UTV sales in Hawaii. The average for the bottom 10 states is 13 percent sport UTV sales compared to the other two segments. With this lack of focus on sport UTVs, the average sport UTV sells for $15,233, which is 11 percent lower than in the top 10 states. Accesso- ries sold with sport UTVs at the time of the new unit purchase in this group average $645, or 9 pecent less than states in the top 10. Overall, U.S. retail sales of sport UTVs at dealerships who use the Lightspeed DMS on average is $16,630, with an additional $703 in accessories sold on average at the time of the new sport UTV purchase. The three Canadian provinces selling the greatest percentage of sport UTVs within the UTV mix, average 43 percent sport (Chart B). The average selling price (Canadian dollars) is $18,461, and the average accessories sold with the purchase of a new sport UTV is $1,236.
